Recently, the international organization for Standardization (ISO) has promulgated the international standard for controlled release fertilizers "fertilizers and soil conditioners - controlled release fertilizers - General requirements", which was implemented on August 25. Industry experts have pointed out that this international standard formulated by China has made up for the lack of a unified controlled-release fertilizer standard in the world. It has played an important role in promoting the healthy development of the global controlled-release fertilizer industry. It not only greatly improves the international discourse power of China's fertilizer industry, but also marks an important practice of writing international rules for the fertilizer industry, and also marks that China is the first in the world In the field of chemical fertilizer manufacturing, it has realized the leap from a runner to a leader.

  On August 25, the seminar on the promulgation and implementation of international standards for controlled release fertilizers, jointly sponsored by Shanghai Research Institute of chemical industry, strategic alliance for technology innovation of slow and controlled release fertilizers, National Engineering Technology Research Center for slow and controlled release fertilizers and Jinzhengda group, came from the Ministry of industry and information technology, the National Standardization Commission, the China Petrochemical Federation, the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, and China phosphorus People from all walks of life, such as compound fertilizer industry association, Shandong Agricultural University, Hebei Yangmei Zhengyuan chemical industry group and Hubei Yihua group, deeply interpreted the international standard of controlled release fertilizer.
Liu Liu, who was personally involved in the formulation of the international standard and director of the testing center of Shanghai Research Institute of chemical industry, said that the international standard was jointly formulated by Shanghai Institute of chemical industry, Jinzhengda group and Shandong Agricultural University. In 2012, China submitted an application to the international organization for standardization. During this period, the international organization solicited opinions from 22 member states. In February 2013, the standard was officially established. After five stages of repeated discussions and modifications, China finally reached a consensus at the end of 2015 and voted for approval. Previously, China has done a lot of work in the field of slow-release fertilizers. For example, the formulation, promulgation and implementation of the national standards for slow-release fertilizers in 2009 and the industry standards for controlled release fertilizers in 2012 were jointly formulated by Shanghai Institute of chemical industry, Jinzhengda group and Shandong Agricultural University. These preliminary work, especially the continuous breakthrough in production technology, popularization and application, manufacturing equipment and other fields of slow and controlled-release fertilizer manufacturing enterprises represented by Jin Zhengda, and the irrefutable great achievements, have laid a solid foundation for China to win the international advanced fertilizer regulation making power.
Pan, director general of the Department of raw materials industry of the Ministry of industry and information technology, pointed out that "China is the largest fertilizer producer and consumer in the world. During the" 12th Five Year Plan "period, the total amount of chemical fertilizer has maintained a rapid growth, and at the same time, it is faced with problems such as overcapacity contradiction, soil pollution, etc. Both slow-release fertilizer and controlled-release fertilizer are the key points of encouraging development in China. The promulgation and implementation of the international standard led by China indicates that China has international voice and international competitiveness in the field of controlled-release fertilizer. The internationalization of one belt, one road to the other, is conducive to the development of China's chemical fertilizer industry and the internationalization of the international production capacity under the "belt and road" strategy.
Liu Xin, deputy director of the international organization division of the International Cooperation Department of the National Standards Commission, believes that the promulgation and implementation of the international standards for controlled release fertilizers have provided important support and paved the way for China's new fertilizer products to export to the world.
Zhou Zhuye, vice president of China Petrochemical Federation and President of China phosphate compound fertilizer industry association, pointed out that the promulgation and implementation of international standards not only shows that China has established an international voice in the important field of chemical fertilizer, but also has grasped the development direction of structural adjustment and transformation mode of fertilizer industry.
Gu zongqin, chairman of the China nitrogen fertilizer industry association and President of the petroleum and Chemical Industry Planning Institute, believes that the promulgation and implementation of the international standards for controlled-release fertilizers led by China is a breakthrough and pioneering work for China's fertilizer industry to go global. The introduction of the standard will play a benchmark role in regulating fertilizer market, fertilizer production and fertilizer trade.
It is worth noting that, as one of the drafters of this international standard, Jinzhengda group has been actively participating in the formulation of various standards of fertilizer industry in the past 10 years from 2007 to now. It is understood that from China's first industrial standard for slow and controlled release fertilizers, national standards for slow-release fertilizers, and industrial standards for controlled-release fertilizers, and then to the international standards for controlled-release fertilizers recently promulgated and implemented, there are 9 industrial, national and international standards participated by Jin Zhengda.
Wan Lianbu, director of the national slow and controlled release fertilizer engineering technology research center and chairman of Jinzhengda group, said that it would take the promulgation and implementation of international standards for controlled-release fertilizers as an opportunity to speed up the publicity and promotion of standards and technologies, so as to let more people know and understand the technology, and export the controlled release fertilizer technology to domestic enterprises, so as to promote the transformation and upgrading of the chemical fertilizer industry; at the same time, it is necessary to promote the transformation and upgrading of the chemical fertilizer industry Build 10 CRF model plants through acquisition and new construction, demonstrate our technology and products, and serve global agriculture.
